If suspicious activity is in progress, call 911.

The Omaha Police Department encourages citizens to provide information about possible crimes that may be occurring. Some examples may range from suspected illegal drug activity, prostitution, or the belief that a specific person is in possession of stolen property.

Tips that we receive from citizens regarding crime must be verified through the investigation of an officer. These tips often lead us in the right direction and can add to the "probable cause" necessary to investigate a crime. The suspicious activity that you are reporting must be taking place within the Omaha city limits.
