Sanitary Improvement Districts Policy

• A permit must be obtained from the County Engineer by the developer to connect any street onto an established County Road. The permit will specify the drainage structures that are required. All work, including furnishing and installing the required drainage structures shall be done by the developer. The location of the connection must comply with the current County Standards on sight distance.
• All streets and related improvements shall be constructed in conformance with current  subdivision regulations as adopted by the governing zoning authority.
• All streets, sewers, water or any other utility will be maintained by the incorporated entity.
• The County may clear ice and snow from public streets within the SID.
